Took a step back in time and worked with *real* paint last night. Digital drawing is fun but nothing compares to feeling the paint slide and mix around. I no longer have the fancy paints or brushes I had used when I was taking classes in college. But

Not feeling great. Not feeling great at all.
But there is still beauty in all the brush.
Like the pretty blue lupines in Alaska.

I have strep and I don’t think I’ve ever had it before and definitely don’t like it. I am exhausted

Felt a little prickly this mornin’ ✨ another nap time drawing that has been in my head for a while. I LOVEEE the wild prickly pear cactus that grow everywhere at my parents. Took some creative license and added yellow flowers and a sweet heart
